American Brilliant Period

he American Brilliant Period dates from 1876 to 1916. During this period some of the most amazing examples of cut glass were created by American companies such as T.G. Hawkes & Company, Corning, New York; Libbey Glass Company, Toledo, Ohio; and C. Dorflinger & Sons, White Mills, PA.
These makers and others used the combination of knowledge gained from European glass makers with materials designs, and craftsmanship of American workers and artisans to create remarkable works of art.
